Initial Consultation $137
Initial Consultation and Follow Up Bundle $207.00
Follow up $87
30-minute follow-up or smaller concerns - Virtual only - $67
Prenatal $87

The initial consultation session will provide you clarity about your unique breastfeeding situation and provide tools and strategies to help resolve concerns. During this time I may do a full examination & history of the mother and the the baby & a feeding session. This provides me with the information needed about the factors that can impact breastfeeding so it can all be taken into consideration. We will try to discover what may have contributed to your breastfeeding concern.

During our time together we will discuss you and your baby’s history to understand where we are starting from, and to help us understand your unique goals. Ideally, I will get to observe feeding or the behaviour in question, to assess causes for your concerns. I assist as needed, provide suggestions to help improve feeding while I observe, provide a summary of my assessment and action a breastfeeding success plan.
Any necessary referrals will be made with an explanation of their benefits and objectives.

After the session, you will find a written summary of the consultation and relevant protocols within the client portal, including handouts or links for further reference.
All consults take place in your home or via video call.

I will arrive within 30 minutes of our scheduled appointment time for home visits.
The arrival time depends on the distance I have to travel from a previous consultation to your scheduled time and the duration of the previous visit. Working with new babies can be unpredictable at the best of times. Thank you for your patience with your approximate appointment time.

Initial consultations typically last 90-120 minutes.

Texts and emails following a consult:  All of your questions and concerns can be addressed in a booked appointment. Please keep a list of questions you want answered, so you don’t forget them! Usually, clients find the answers are already provided throughout the consult, but occasionally, there is something more unique. You are welcome to contact me to clarify information from our visit. The intent of this communication is to clarify any parts of our care plan or to provide me with additional follow-up information so I can make sure the care plan is still the best relevant plan or if it needs adaptations with new information (an example would be a new weight on the baby or feedback from a practitioner I have referred you to). I cannot answer questions about your care that we have not previously discussed.

Additional concerns and new questions: We can schedule a follow-up appointment or phone consultation if there is a new concern or a new need, such as a change of focus from your original concern. If your email/text/voicemail is outside of requiring clarity on something from our original plan, I will ask that you book a visit.

And PLEASE check junk mail if you do not see a confirmation email, a response to an email or a chat message. Often messages are dumped in junk.

I will travel outside the Regina Area.
Mileage applies to these bookings. $0.65/km mileage will be charged.

NEEDS ASSESSMENT CALL

This is an opportunity to ask about my services, my approach to helping, and how I can support parents in achieving their breastfeeding goals. This is an excellent chance for parents to assess my expertise, compatibility, and approach to care. It's important for parents to feel confident with their lactation consultant choice, as this relationship can significantly impact their breastfeeding journey. After the call, if both parties feel it's a good fit, next steps can be taken, which will include scheduling in-person or virtual consultations.

This is not the appropriate call to seek tailored advice for your current challenges. I can only provide guidance once an assessment has been performed. If you require specific advice, I recommend scheduling an initial consultation appointment.

I cannot give breastfeeding support via text message.
